Remedies for Planetary Dosh in Lal Kitab

Sun: If Sun is sitting in the tenth house (naturally in the sign Capricorn that is in the sign of Saturn) and is afflicting through its objects, the trial (totaka) is that dropping copper coin in flowing water is beneficial. Remember that copper is the metal of Sun and Capricorn is moveable sign. There is an adage - 'Khaye muh laajey aankh’ which means that modesty will take over eyes while making donation of a few grains and' when modesty will come it will subdue anger. Another point of view is that on donating in the name of Sun the trouble of the person will flow off as running water.

Moon: Everyone knows it well that Moon is related with silver. If sitting in any of the houses the Moon is afflicting- for example - it is troubling mother and she is ill, 'Chandrama manaso jaatah’-there is mental worry or weakness or there is lung-related disease or wealth is depreciating, float silver in the river as silver represents Moon. All of your trouble will flow off. When Moon is afflicting: the trial (totaka) is that put water or milk in a pot and keep it at the head post during sleeping in the night and pour it on a peepal tree in the morning. Here Moon is in the eleventh house, the natural house of Aquarius sign, which is sign of Moon's enemy, Saturn. Hence donation of milk, the object of Moon, is recommended. Saturn, which is lord of Aquarius, is a form of Bhairav and that is why Bhairav temple is recommended.

Mars: The simple rule for Mars is that if Mars is conferring ill effect, the best thing to ward off its ill effect is donation of sweet bread prepared in the earthen oven. A form of fire, predominantly fire element, Mars confers good effect. Dropping rewari in the running water is also good. Offering and donating sweet food is also good. Float batashey in the water. Hanumanji is the lord of Mars, hence worship Hanumanji. Feast him with gur-churma. Offer vermilion and silver foil. Take prasad.

Mercury: Burn shells and immerse its ash in the river the same day if Mercury is afflicting in its position. Immersing a pierced coin of copper or a holed coin in the river brings auspicious effect. Donation of whole moong is excellent. Emerald should be adorned. Mother Durgaji is the lord of Mercury. Whenever Mercury confers ill effect, Durga Saptshati should be chanted or should be arranged to be chanted. Worship goddess Durga. Observe fast during Navratri. Jupiter: When Jupiter is grievously inauspicious, collect one paisa from each member of family, as far as blood relation is concerned, and donate the sum at a temple; this removes the ill effect of Jupiter. Donate at the temple to please dev-guru (guru of god); plantation of peepal tree is beneficial too Saffron, turmeric, gold, gram pulse, yellow flower, yellow cloth, book etc. are good for donation. Brahma is the lord of Jupiter; however, if one is not having progeny as a result of Jupiter's ill effect, he should worship 'Shri Hari'.

Venus: If Venus is posited in the horoscope to harm it is favourable for the native to spare some food, from his meals to feed cows. Such donations as donation of cows and feeding of cows are useful. Ghee, curd, camphor, clothes, items of makeup, and pearl etc are worthy objects of Venus's donation. It is excellent to offer support to a female native. 'Shri Lakshmiji' is the lord of Venus, hence worship of Lakshmi and chanting of Shri Sookt is excellent to ward off the ill effect of Venus.

Saturn: Feeding wheat dough to fish is useful if Saturn is sitting in the horoscope in an unfavourable position. Offering a share to crows from one's meals also wards off the ill effect of Saturn. Arrange an oil-filled pot to see one's image in the oil in order to remove the ill effect of Saturn. Black gram lentil (uraddal), oil, iron, leather, stone are the worthy objects of Saturn's donation. Lord Shiva is the lord of Saturn. Donation of almond, oven, pincers (chimta), pan (tawa), wine and spirit is good to put off the dread of Saturn.

Rahu: Immersing coconut in water is good if Rahu is present in inauspicious position in the horoscope. The ill effect of Rahu is removed by floating barley washed with milk in the river. If suffering from leprosy, wash barley with cow's urine and keep it after tying it in a red cloth and clean teeth with cow's urine. Donation of radish is considered good. Immersing coal in the river also proves to be good and useful. Mustard and sapphire also count in the items of Rahu's donation. Coal, childless person, blind by one eye, vishtha, and roof of house have relation with Rahu. If Rahu is inauspicious in the eighth house, throwing gilded coin in the river provides calm.

Ketu: Feeding dogs is useful if Ketu is present inauspiciously in the horoscope. Ketu is considered to be a dog. Sesame is also donated among the objects of Ketu’s donation. Ganapati is the lord of Ketu. If the behaviour of son is not proper, the ill effect of Ketu goes off by donating quilt at the temple. Adorning pure silk thread and pearl in silver ring is useful if one has trouble in feet or has urinary infection.
