There are certain care and precautions need to be taken
for Rudraksha beads
1. Always keep the rudraksha oiled. After regular cleaning,
oil the bead and treat it with incense. This is of utmost
importance. Especially when not using the bead for sometime,
or storing it for a while.
2. Always wear the rudraksha bead around the neck in a thread
or gold or silver.
3. Always keep your rudraksha clean. Dust and dirt can settle
in the pores of the bead.
4. After cleaning, wash your rudraksha with some blessed holy
water. This helps maintain its sanctity.
5. Don't wear the rudraksha during sex.
6. Women must not wear the rudraksha during their menstrual
cycle.
7. Don't wear the rudraksha to a funeral or when visiting
a new born baby.
8. Use a Rudraksha for single purpose, i.e, "worship it",
"wear it" or "include it in Rudraksha mala for chanting".
Don't do all things with same Rudraksha. |
