For Males:
Add the last two digits of your birth year.
If the sum is two digits, add them again to get a single digit.
Subtract that number from 10. The result is your Kua Number.
For Females:
Add the last two digits of your birth year.
If the sum is two digits, add them again to get a single digit.
Add 5 to that number. If the result is two digits, reduce it to one.
Example:
A man born in 1984 → 8 + 4 = 12 → 1 + 2 = 3 → 10 – 3 = Kua Number 7
A woman born in 1990 → 9 + 0 = 9 → 9 + 5 = 14 → 1 + 4 = Kua Number 5 (which has a special rule*)
*Note: Kua Number 5 for men becomes 2, and for women becomes 8 (as per traditional Feng Shui interpretation).
