12th House: Associated with separation, endings, and loss, it may indicate the circumstances of spouse’s passing.
When these houses are influenced by malefic planets without benefic support, there may be concerns regarding the life span of the partner.

Planetary Combinations for Spouse’s Death

Afflicted 7th house or 7th lord connected with the 8th or 12th house may suggest risk to the partner.
Saturn, Mars, Rahu, or Ketu in sensitive positions affecting the 7th or 8th house can weaken longevity.
Weak Venus (for male natives) or weak Jupiter (for female natives) often shows health issues or early loss of spouse.
Maraka planets (death-indicating planets) operating in dasha may sometimes trigger such events.

Role of Dasha and Transits in Timing

As per Brihat Jatak, death of the spouse may occur when;

a) An evil planet is placed in 8th house of lady's chart and when sub period of the lord of navamsa, occupied by that planet is running, may give death. However plea?e note that the sub period causing death must run after the marriage has taken place.

b) Death may come in period indicted by lord of navamasa occupied by 8th lord when there is malefie Planet in 8 house This can be put in simple words as

There should be a malefic in 8th house

that malefic planet must be occupying some navamsa

In the sub period of the lofd of that navamsa death may occur

As per second method (when a malefic is in 8th house)

Find Navamsa occupied by 8th lord.Death may occur in sub period of that navamsa lords

c) In the major of sub period of th£ malefic planet occupying 8th house

d) In the major or sub period ofthe Planet involved in combination showing death to spouse.

e) Many times the charge of death is taken over by

(i) lord of the sign in which the planet giving death is Placed

(ii) lord of the constellation occupied by such planet

f) Planet joining or aspecting the Killer planet may take over it on them.

f) In the major or sub period of the planet which has exchanged sign, navamsa or Nakshatra (Constellation) with death indicating planet

g) In the dasa and sub period of planet which has aquired Maraka properties with respect to 7th house

h) In dasa and sub period of planet afflicting 7th house or its 7th lord.
