Dumbness, Muteness and Its Astrological Remedies
Dumbness or muteness, whether congenital or developed later in life, can be linked to astrological factors. 6. Lord of the 10th in kendra or trikona with four planets.
7. Mercury in 9th and Venus in 10th cause stammering.
8. 6th lord Mercury in lagna under a malefic effect.
9. Malefics in signs 4, 8, 12, and Moon at fag end of Taurus aspected by a malefic.
10. Sun, Moon, Saturn in 3, 5, 7, and 9th without benefic aspect.
11. Saturn in opposition to Moon and Sun, Venus together in lagna.
12. Moon associated with Mars in lagna.
13. Mercury in 6th in speechless signs, i.e. in Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.
14. 2nd lord in any dusthana with Rahu or with dispositor or Rahu.
15. 2nd lord in Jupiter, being afflicted, be in 8th from the 2nd house makes one dumb.
16. Moon lying on the conjunction of 2 rasis and Jupiter is in a trik bhava and benefics are afflicted.
Astrological Remedies for Dumbness and Muteness
Strengthen Mercury: Wear an emerald gemstone (Panna) in a silver or gold ring after proper astrological consultation.
Chant Mantras:
“Om Bum Budhaya Namah” – 108 times daily.
“Om Som Somaya Namah” to strengthen Moon if mental clarity is also needed.
Perform Budh Puja: Offer green moong dal, green clothes, and betel leaves on Wednesdays to Mercury-related deities.
Donate Items: Green items like spinach, moong dal, or green clothes to the needy on Wednesdays.
Feed Parrots: Feeding green parrots with grains is considered highly beneficial for Mercury-related speech problems
