ASTROLOGICAL BENEFIC TIME (MAHURATA) FOR FIXING THE MAIN DOOR.

Main door is most important part of the house/building. It collects & generates magnetic energies to the owner & all persons using the door. It ensures all good luck, happiness, safety of the owner and other dwellers in the house. First of all, the direction for fixing the main door should be decided, as per norms explained in the previous chapter. Thereafter Mahurata should be decided after examining all the astrological factors. This will be ensure lucky & benefic events in the house & avoid malefic and evil events. Main door is supposed to protect the owner from unfortunate or malefic events.

Day: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday are considered benefic days for fixing the main door. Sunday, Tuesday & Saturday should be in- variably avoided.

Tithi: All tithies (lunar) are acceptable except 1, 4, 8, 9, 12, 14 & 30.

Star: Vastu Sastra has attached great importance for deciding the benefic star for fixing the main door. Different norms prescribed by our sages are explained below:

Benefic Star: Rohini, Mrig, Uttara, Hasta, Chitra, Jyestha, U. shada, Sravana.

Ordinary benefic: Pusya, Svati, Anuradha, Satbhisha, U. Bhadrapada, Revati. Find out the Star occupied by Moon from Sun at the time of fixing the main door as under:

So examine the from the Sun�s Star & select a day which consists of a favourable star from Sun�s star, e.g. 1 to 4, 13 to 20, & 24 to 27 stars. Only these positions of the Star of the day, which synchronises with the star of owner should be selected for fixing the main door frame & main door.

Another method for deciding benefic star for fixing the main door:

� Avoid construction of the main door in the direction where owners birth & Vastu Star is located eg. If Krittika is star do not construct main door in East.

So ensure that keeping Moon star of owner of Vastu, in front is malefic and bad.

SIGN

� Ascendant should be placed in fixed signs:- Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius (2, 5, 8, 11).

� According to some sages sign & direction of the main door are prescribed as under:

The owner�s sign & city sign should not be placed in 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 12 house of the election chart.

Planets:

Benefic planet for fixing the main door are as under:

Jupiter, Mercury, Venus & waxing Moon are benefic planets. Keep any one of them in Ascendant at the time of fixing the main door. Malefic planets may occupy 3, 6, 11 houses, keep 8th house vacant.

Main door should be provided for good luck in the direction having face of Vastu Purusha as under:

These are benefic directions for main door. Main door in other directions during the prescribed months will cause danger, sorrow, sickness, and loss. If doors are provided in all the 4 directions, malefic, results will not happen.

MONTHS:

Benefic months for fixing the main door are as under:

Vaisakha, Sravana Bhadrapada,

Kartika, Pausa, Phalguna, Magha

SUN:

Sun should never occupy Ascendant. It can occupy 6th house in its own sign, Leo or exaltation sign Aries.

ASCENDANT:

Should be a fixed sign & occupied by a benefic planet either in its own sign or exaltation sign in addition to 2, 5, 8, 11 signs.

NAVAMSA:

Navamsa should also be 2, 5, 8, 11, sign & must be fortified & occupied by a benefic planet.
